Arnold and Wendy are a creative couple that are both not from ‘la terreta’. However, destiny decided to bring them together in this beautiful place of paella, oranges and eternal sunshine.

Arnold is originally from Belgium, but has moved around the globe a lot, eventually settling in Valencia in 2018. He fell in love with the combination of urban vibes, sunny beaches and the cosy crowdedness of the city and region.

Wendy comes from the other side of the Atlantic Ocean - Cali, Colombia. She arrived in Valencia in September 2023, and immediately fell in love with everything about this place: the food, the people and the different weather that bring the four seasons throughout the year - something she hadn’t experienced in her own country.

They met in the spring of 2024 and have inspired each other the grow creatively ever since.

This is Valencia is their way of saying thanks for everything this city and region have given them. The idea is to show Valencia from a different angle, through the eyes of two foreigners from two completely different sides of the world. Valencia is so much more than the City of Arts and Sciences, la Plaza del Ayuntamiento and the Torres de Serranos. It is also the ‘frutería’ on the corner, the ‘abuelita’ on a park bench, friends getting together on the beach, families sharing a Sunday paella, and of course, a whole lot of cultural and ethnic diversity.
